 Appreciation

While our efforts and successes have depended upon so many, there are certain people who truly stand out and who deserve special recognition.  We want to give Special Thanksto the following people who have gone above and beyond what anyone could have expected to help Loisaba CCF's work and thus deserve recognition:

The Congdon, Pigman and Yowell Families-we can only scream "THANKS"!  Your classrooms bring joy every day. And the Congdons just came through again with two more terrific donations which will further our efforts at establishing Loisaba as the premier destination in Kenya where guests can enjoy the wonders of nature and support the Trust's activities at the same time--Giving back and Getting back---it couldn't be simpler!

The Dinos Family-there from the beginning-always reaching deep.  Classrooms and money for food programs-getting our Chicken and Egg Program going to help feed the children-Thanks!

The Kennedy Familyfor all their help with the Ewaso Clinic--especially for their generous donation to make our first nurse Jeremy a reality, touching hundreds of lives.  Each month the Clinic records 400 visits.  In 3 years, the Kennedy Family has supported over 14,000 Clinic visits.  What a lovely way to touch so many lives.

The Elmore Family-Pam you are tireless and much respected!  The work you have done for youth groups and HIV/AIDS Educationis touching lives every day.  Your work with and for the Women's Groups has helped families and widows especially in ways that are unimagineable.

The Foondos Family-for all you have done and are doing to touch so many young lives.

The Peter Nemer Family just joined our list of donors.  Their gift of funds necessary to construct a new kitchen at the Ewaso School will provide a safe work area for staff and a substantially cleaner environment for preparing the children's meals.  Thanks Nemers!

The Robert DeNooyer Family-you've been there so many times when we needed you most.

The Toth and Dallas Families-thanks for working so hard to make the Women's Groups products a reality by all your sales efforts.

The Moore Family for making our dream of a second nurse a reality.

The Gural Familyfor reaching deep to allow the purchase and installation of a 2,000 gallon rainwater collection system in the Village of Ewaso.  And every day they will know the joy of touching over 3,000 lives!

The Bruin Familyfor never waivering in your support.

The Flynns-what can you say about people who have been there from the beginning and whose support has never waivered?  The Best!

The Fox Family for help in getting the Women's Group products into retail clothing stores.

Susan Bartkowski--our friend and attorney back in the States who worked so hard to obtain our IRC 501 (c)3 status so critical to our work and who continues to donate countless time and energy with the students on both sides of the globe and who is the driving force behind the US side of the Women's groups products.  The mothers and children could not have a better friend.  Thanks!

Our Web Meister--James Towne III--for countless hours and efforts to help us get the word and spread the word.  A work in progress growing every day.

Candace Carstens-who got the ball rolling in the US with classroom exchanges and who has done so very much to have the children connect-to teach charity and understanding and for being a good friend.

And the backbone of our efforts--our Guests at the Ranch whose time at Loisaba makes so much of it all possible--whether on game drives, using our Quads for Classrooms or just spreading the word of who we are and what we're about.  Thanks!

The rest of us want to give Special Recognition to two special people who had the vision and have donated so much of their lives in funds and efforts that few will ever really comprehend--Jim and Lori DeNooyer.  If you visit, you will see first hand why he is called "Super" and why everyone knows Lori as "Mama LuLu"-she is everyone's Mom and the kindest, most generous soul ever.  You two deserve more thanks than anyone will ever realize.  You have given us all a place where dreams grow and where hearts are allowed to flourish-you energize us all, and manage the expectations of the "overly enthusiastic" giving Loisaba CCF a solid and sound foundation upon which to build.
